Trips and excursions

A vacation in Croatia doesn't mean just recovering, sun, beaches and sea. There are numerous opportunities for trips and expeditions. The UNESCO-towns Trogir and Split are located nearby. Especially trips into the intact nature of the waterfalls in the Krka National Park or to Omiš are charming.

Trogir - 4 km

Trogir is one of the oldest and most exciting cities on the Croatian side of Adriatic coast. The picturesque old town belongs to the UNESCO World Heritage. Enjoy the great atmosphere of the riva between history and jetset.

Marina Frapa (Rogoznica) - 22 km

Marina Frapa is located in the idyllic and beautiful bay Soline between the towns Trogir an Šibenik. Gaze at some yachts, enjoy the typical Dalmatian kitchen or spend an exciting evening in the yacht club there.

Primošten - 28 km

Primošten, built on an island near the coast, is known for its indigenous stone houses, churches and the narrow streets of the Mediterranean style. It is especially famous for its huge and beautiful vineyards.

Split - 30 km

Always buzzing, this exuberant city has just the right balance of tradition and modernity. Step inside Diocletian’s Palace (a Unesco World Heritage site and one of the world’s most impressive Roman monuments) and you’ll see dozens of bars, restaurants and shops...

Aquarium Split - 30 km

Aquarium Split is the largest marine aquarium in Croatia and offers visitors a unique experience of enjoying the beautiful underwater world. This offer is perfect for families.

Šibenik - 48 km

Šibenik is famous for its cathedral St. Jacob, what belongs to the UNESCO World Heritage.

Several successive architects built it completely in stone between 1431 and 1536, both in Gothic and in Renaissance style.

Omiš - 50 km

The town is situated approximately 25 km (16 miles) south-east of Split. It is located where the emerald-green Cetina River meets the Adriatic Sea. It is the most water-rich river in Dalmatia and famous for its rafting and canoe offers.

Krka Nationalpark - 57 km

Named after the Krka River, the Park covers an area of just over 142 square km. The top attraction are its magnificent waterfalls, including the famous Skradinski Buk falls. There’s a wide variety of flora and fauna. Over 800 species of plantlife have been identified.

Visovac Monastery - 78 km

The tiny island of Visovac in the Krka river - also called Mother of God Island - was settled by Franciscan monks in 1445, who originally built a monastery in that year and a church in 1576. The monastery contains a number of well-preserved artefacts and a library.

Makarska Riviera - 78 km

The Makarska Riviera stretches for 60km between the towns of Brela and Gradac with the main town Makarska. The area is also known for the impressive Biokovo Mountain, which overlooks the coastal area.

Zadar - 135 km

Zadar is the entrance of Dalamtia. Boasting a historic old town of Roman ruins and medieval churches, cosmopolitan cafes and quality museums, it is an excellent city. Its 2 unique attractions – the sound-and-light spectacle of the Sea Organ and Sun Salutation – need to be seen and heard.
